Daily Hall of Fame: Big Bass Halloween Splash 1000 — 23 Oct 2026

Reporting period: 23 October 2026 · 00:00–23:59 UTC.
Big Bass Halloween Splash 1000 by Pragmatic Play takes our game of the day title. It is our Hall of Fame pick for 23 October 2026. First, a closer look at the game itself.
Meet the game
The fisherman has traded his usual day on the lake for a night among glowing pumpkins and ghostly fish. Big Bass Halloween Splash 1000 is Pragmatic Play’s spooky take on its familiar fishing series, with a fanged lead character and a bonus round built around collecting the catch.
The Halloween dressing is easy to spot, but the pumpkin upgrades give this version its own personality. They can change what turns up during free spins, so there is more going on than a seasonal change of scenery.
How the game works
First, find the free spins
Three scatters open the bonus with 10 free spins. Four give you 15, and five give you 20. Two scatters can sometimes receive a random helping hand from extra scatters, but that extra nudge is never guaranteed.
Pick a pumpkin
Before the bonus starts, you choose from six pumpkins. The upgrades revealed can add fish, wilds or free spins, or move you further up the bonus multiplier ladder. More pumpkins can appear on the fifth reel during the feature, bringing further changes to the round.
Bring the fisherman and the fish together
This is the heart of the bonus: fish show money values, and a fisherman wild collects them when they land on the same spin. A fish on its own is not the same thing as a collected catch. Some fish can carry values as high as 1,000× the bet.
Watch the collection ladder
Every fourth fisherman adds another 10 free spins. The first retrigger takes collections to 2×, the next to 3×, and the third to 10×. That gives the feature a clear sense of progression: collect fishermen, extend the round and see whether it reaches the next step. These are possible game features, not a promise of how a bonus will play out.

What does relative performance mean?
The winner sets the benchmark at 100. Every other eligible game is shown in relation to the winner, using the same performance calculation. A value of 80 means its calculated performance was 80% of the winner’s for this period. It is not an 80% chance of winning, an RTP figure or a prediction.
Values are specific to this report: 100 identifies the leader in this period, rather than a perfect result or an absolute quality rating.
How is the game of the period chosen?
The award balances the frequency and size of Big wins against each game’s recorded results, with sample size taken into account. Mega and Ultra wins carry more weight, while smaller samples have less influence. A short burst of results is therefore less likely to outrank a stronger, larger sample. USD payouts do not determine the award.
The figures above show the recorded results behind the comparison. They describe selected results, not every spin, and cannot establish a game’s actual RTP or predict future wins.
Why the award winner differs from the payout leader
Gates of Olympus 2500 led the included slots by recorded USD payouts, with $1,531,830, compared with $690,994 for Big Bass Halloween Splash 1000. Cash totals reflect stake sizes and the amount of recorded activity; a larger cash payout total does not necessarily mean more frequent large multipliers relative to the game's recorded results.
Game | Recorded results | Big wins | Recorded USD |
9,217 | 4,312 | $690,994 | |
24,125 | 4,340 | $1,531,830 |
Big Bass Halloween Splash 1000 earned the award through the combined strength of its Big-win frequency, Mega and Ultra wins, and recorded sample size. The two tables answer different questions: which game had the strongest recorded performance after considering sample size, and which game accounted for the largest recorded dollar payouts.
The numbers, in plain English
Big wins means recorded results of at least 10× the bet. That total includes Mega wins (50× up to, but below, 200×) and Ultra wins (200× or more), with each result counted once.
Recorded results is the number of individual results recorded for a game, including returns below 10×. Recorded high is its largest recorded multiplier in this period, rather than its all-time record or theoretical maximum win.
Payouts: USD figures are estimated gross payouts, not player profit.
